Is the state of the world leaving you on edge?

The exhaustion, wired-but-tired feeling and the inability to switch off, even when nothing is technically wrong, are all signs of a nervous system trying to function inside a culture that runs on urgency, productivity, and constant low-grade threat.

This workshop is for people who are done managing stress like it's a second job, and ready to change how they move through life from the bottom up.

You'll recognise yourself if…

  • You're constantly "on" and can't truly switch off, even on holiday

  • Anxiety, overwhelm, or a flat, numb feeling has become your baseline

  • You've tried breathing apps, meditation, and other techniques, but nothing seems to help long term

  • You want to understand what's happening inside your body, not just cope around it

  • You're curious about somatic work but don't know where to begin

What we'll do together

Decode your nervous system, without the jargon. What the stress response really is, how activation and shutdown show up in your body, why your system gets stuck on a loop, and how to recognise your own patterns, both the obvious ones and the subtle ones.

Name what's really going on. Why dysregulation is so widespread right now. Burnout culture, the pressure to be endlessly productive, the structural weight of modern life, and why your body's response makes complete sense in context. This isn't just about your personal story. It's about the conditions we're all living in.

Practise tools you'll actually keep using. Simple grounding and self-soothing practices you'll experience directly in the session. Not another wellness task for your to-do list, but skills that become part of how you live.

  • A clear, embodied understanding of your own stress and activation patterns

  • 2–3 grounding tools you've practised and felt working in your body

  • The relief of finally understanding why you respond the way you do

Your facilitator

Aleksandra Wruk is an eco-somatic therapist and regenerative well-being advocate with a PhD in Digital Mental Well-being. They bring together nervous system science, somatic practice, and a clear-eyed honesty about why so many of us are struggling, when the conditions we're living in are genuinely hard.

No prior knowledge of nervous system science or somatics needed. Just bring your body and your curiosity.
