Overcoming Survival
A six-session 1:1 program for coming home to yourself
This individual program is designed to help you come back to who you are underneath the survival: the one with her own wisdom, her own pace, her own knowing of what she needs.
Not by adding more tools but by building the felt safety, the lived permission, and the relational presence that finally let what you already know land in your body.
Not just a transformation but a real homecoming.

Who this is for:
This program is for the women who:
-
Have done the therapy, the journalling, the inner work and are still waiting for things to actually shift
-
Are high-functioning on the outside, quietly depleted underneath
-
Carry other people's needs, hold the responsibilities, keep things moving
-
Understand their nervous system better than most people they know, and still can't seem to act on what they know
-
Are ready to stop trying to think their way home and ready for the slower work that actually gets them there
What might be happening for you:
You can name your patterns. You understand yourself better than most people you know and yet its not translating:
-
You're functioning, often well, but depleted in a way rest doesn't seem to touch
-
You're bracing constantly, even when nothing is wrong
-
You wake up with a low-level dread or flatness you can't quite name
-
You've tried many things; none have landed the way you hoped
-
You quietly wonder what's wrong with you that all this work hasn't shifted things
-
The awareness itself has become a burden another form of monitoring
-
You're tired of being the one who holds everything, and you don't know how to stop
Turns out, nothing is wrong with you. The gap between knowing and feeling is a nervous system that learned to brace before it learned to settle, and that part of you is still doing its job: keeping you safe and alive.

What becomes possible:
There is a version of you underneath survival, not a future, improved you, but the one who has been there all along. She has her own wisdom about what she needs and what she doesn't.
She knows what are her needs and she has the confidence to reach for what she truly desires.
When the nervous system has enough safety to stop bracing, she comes forward. Not through effort or tools, but through permission. And what becomes possible is:
-
A body that knows how to settle and rest
-
The patterns you've been fighting beginning to loosen on their own, because the system underneath them is no longer running on threat
-
Permission to want more than coping. To reach for what's actually yours and follow your own wisdom rather than other people's expectations
-
The internal noise quietening enough that you can finally hear your own intuition
-
Clearer boundaries, not as effortful protection, but as a natural expression of self-respect
-
Finally, a felt sense, that you are allowed to be her, and life that is shaped by her, not from the part that learned to brace
This program is about the slow, rebuilding of safety in the person you already are.

Why this work, and why me?
I know exactly what it's like to have insight without change.
For years I was high-functioning, successful, capable, doing the work, and completely stuck inside the same loops. Even after therapy, I remained in cycles of over-achieving, people-pleasing, and emotional survival. The patterns didn't shift until I stopped trying to understand them from my head and started working with my body directly. That's when a real transformation happened, one that has held.
I'm Aleksandra. My approach brings together 15 years of personal practice and training: somatic trauma healing, nervous system regulation, eco-therapy, Internal Family Systems, and a PhD in Mental wellbeing interventions. But the most important thing I bring is that I've walked this path myself. I was my own first client.
What's included:
A complete six-session program. Everything you need, built around the three things your nervous system actually needs to change: safety, permission, and relationality.
6 x 60-minute
1:1 somatic sessions
The heart of the program. The sessions are held online via Zoom, paced over three to six months at a rhythm that suits your life.
A library of practice recordings
For grounding, settling, and returning to safety for any moment you need to come back to yourself.
Your personal nervous system map
A document we build together. Your patterns, your anchors, your resources, named and known.
Email support during the program
If you have any questions, reflections you want to share, I'll be there to respond and provide input.
The Overcoming Survival workbook
A PDF workbook with reflections, practices, and prompts to extend the work between sessions and after.
A 20-minute follow-up call after completion
To integrate and check-in on your progress, to make sure what you've found has somewhere to live after we stop meeting.

What makes this program different:
Most somatic work teaches you about the nervous system. This program works at three deeper levels that information alone can't reach.
Safety, as a felt experience. Not as concept, but the slow, repeated, physiological experience of your body learning this moment is not a threat. This is the foundation everything else is built on.
Permission, lived from the inside. You already know what your body needs. The gap isn't information. It's the felt permission to act on what you know: to rest, to follow your wisdom, to want more than coping. This program is built to grant that permission as a lived experience.
Relationality, as co-regulation. Some kinds of settling can only happen in the presence of another regulated nervous system. My regulated presence isn't the context for the work but the underlying foundation.
This is the difference between understanding you need to slow down and your nervous system actually allowing you to.
How this work unfolds
Three pairs of sessions, each building on the last. The arc moves from safety, to what's underneath survival, to coming home to the self you've always been.
Sessions 1–2:
Settling into safety
We begin where the work has to begin: in the body, and slowly. We locate the places where settling is already possible. We map your nervous system as it actually is — where it braces, where the warning signals live, what anchors your system already trusts.
The aim isn't insight. It's the first felt experience that your body is not the enemy.
After these sessions: you have ground to stand on.
Sessions 3–4: Meeting what's underneath
The survival patterns have been doing a job for you — protecting something tender underneath. In these sessions, we begin to meet what they've been protecting: the wanting, the softness, the self that hasn't had room to come forward. As your body learns it's safe to soften, permission starts to land.
After these sessions: you start to remember who you are when the system isn't running on threat.
Sessions 5–6: Coming home to her
We turn toward inhabiting the self that survival has been covering. This is where permission becomes real — to slow down, to follow your own wisdom, to reach for what's actually yours. Permission, in the end, to be her.
After these sessions: you know the way home. And the way home is yours to keep.
This isn't a vision you have to work toward. It's what becomes available when the nervous system is finally allowed to settle.

Common reasons people hesitate:
-
"I'm worried I won't have time for six sessions." The program is paced by you, not a fixed schedule. Six sessions over three to six months is typical, but you set the rhythm. The work meets you in your actual capacity, not what feels like it should be possible.
-
"I've tried so many things, why would this be different?" Because this isn't another approach that works at the thinking level. Your nervous system doesn't speak in thoughts, it speaks in sensation. Until you work at that level, in the presence of another regulated nervous system, the old patterns keep running. Not because you're failing. Because survival responses don't respond to insight.
-
"Is six sessions really enough?" Six is a foundation, not a finish line. Most people notice real shifts in the first two or three. The deeper changes settle in over the full arc and keep working after. What we build is yours to keep.
-
"I'm not sure I'm ready to commit." The free connection call is for this. No pressure. If it's not the right time, I'll tell you, and we can talk about 1:1 Somatic Therapy, which is more open-ended.
-
"I'm worried it's a lot of money." It's a meaningful investment, and I take that seriously. Clearpay and Klarna available; concession spots offered when capacity allows. please get in touch through the form at the bottom of this page..
Testimonials
This program is currently being launched with a small cohort of founding clients. Testimonials from current 1:1 somatic work appear on the Somatic Therapy page
Feedback from program participants will be added here as the work unfolds.
As a trade-off you are getting this program at exceptionally good value.
If you've been waiting for the right time
Another year of understanding yourself and still not feeling free.
Another year of your body running the show while your head tries to manage it.
Another year of all the awareness, all the tools, and the same patterns running underneath.
You've already proven that thinking alone doesn't get you there. This is the piece that's been missing.
If something in you is recognising this that recognition is information worth trusting.
Frequently asked questions
Is this therapy or
coaching?
It includes elements of both. We work with the emotional and nervous system patterns held in the body, while also supporting practical shifts in how you relate to your life and decisions. It's not a replacement for mental health treatment, but many people find it complements, or goes deeper than talk therapy alone.
What does a session look like?
Sessions are online, 60 minutes, mostly seated, with the option to stand, lie down, or move if your body asks for it. We begin with a check-in, then work with what's actually present: sensations, breath, imagery, gentle movement, sound, or stillness. Sometimes we talk, sometimes we don't. Eyes can be open or closed. There's no requirement to perform anything.
Do I have to attend sessions every week?
Most people pace the six sessions over three to six months, at a rhythm that suits their life, weekly or fortnightly. We'll talk on the first session about what makes sense for you, and we can adjust as we go.
Why individual sessions rather than a group?
This work depends on a relational container shaped to your specific nervous system. Group work has its own gifts, and I offer it elsewhere but the kind of settling and permission this program is built for needs the space to move at the pace your body sets, without other systems in the room.
Do I have to talk about my trauma?
No. The work doesn't depend on narrative. We work with what your body is doing now, not with the story of how it got there. You're welcome to share whatever feels useful, but nothing is required.
What if I need to reschedule?
Life happens. Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice. We'll always find a way to make the work fit your actual life.
What if it's not the right fit after I start?
The free connection call is designed to make sure we're a good fit before you commit. If something genuinely doesn't work after we begin, we can talk about it openly, pausing, adjusting the pacing, or finding a different shape are all possible.
