1:1 Online somatic sessions

For people who's done ALL the inner work but are still waiting for a deeper shift

This isn't about fixing things or finding more awareness

You've probably already tried that already - many times over. You can name your patterns, and yet they still run your life.

In these sessions, we work directly with the nervous system. We slow down together and notice what your body is actually holding beneath all the functioning, self-monitoring, and all the pushing. When we hold the body gently it starts to trust that letting go is possible.

This work is particularly effective if:

  • You're high-functioning on the outside and quietly exhausted underneath

  • You've tried all the things, and something still hasn't shifted

  • You feel disconnected from yourself, or notice your body is constantly braced or tense

  • You're carrying a lot: other people's needs, high responsibility, and there's nowhere to put it down

  • You want regular, consistent space to land, with someone who can hold it with you

  • You're ready to commit to five sessions of real, body-led support

  • You're dreaming of a different life and quietly wondering whether you're allowed to want it

How this work unfolds

We start by slowing down together and getting honest about what's actually present, not what you think you should be feeling or thinking.

From there, we focus on building a felt foundation of safety - a physiological state where your nervous system can start to settle. There will be loads of self hugging and holding, and your nervous system will get a chance to co-regulate with one that is grounded and present - mine.

From there we stop working on expanding what you can hold: not just pressure, but good things: excitement, visibility, being wanted, wanting. Then visioning, parts work, and the practical business of building a life instead of holding one together. This is where magic unfold and we start to incorporate visioning and ID work.

Testimonials

"I hadn't realised how heavy I'd been carrying things until I started to put them down. I can't fully explain what happened in the sessions but something I'd been holding for years finally got to rest. I feel lighter than I have in a very long time. It's not that everything is resolved. It's that I'm no longer alone with it inside myself." — K.

"I've tried a lot of things over the years. This was the first time I didn't have to translate myself, or squeeze my experience into someone else's framework. Aleksandra just worked with what I said, in the way I made sense of it. For the first time, something actually landed for me." — M., teacher

"I've been trying to push the feeling away for so long. In the sessions I realised I'd been approaching it completely wrong, my brain just kept trying to fix everything, and it was exhausting. Slowly I learned that maybe there was nothing to fix. I just needed to be with it, and find a way to let my body feel held. That shift changed everything." — A., 34

Pricing and pacing

Sessions are sold in blocks of five. Most people use them over two to three months at a pace that works for their life: weekly, fortnightly, or monthly. We can talk about what makes sense for you on the connection call.

Five sessions cost: £320

Clearpay and Klarna available if you'd like to spread the cost.

To get started book a Free Connection Call: 30 minutes conversation to see if this is right for you.

If cost or pacing is a barrier, bring it up on our Connection Call and we'll figure out what makes sense.

What the sessions are like?

Sessions are 60 minutes, online, mostly seated, with the option to move, stand up, or close your eyes, whatever your body is asking for. We begin with a check-in, then work with what's actually present: sensations, breath, imagery, gentle movement, sound, stillness, or words.

  • A trauma-informed space, paced to your capacity

  • Sessions are tailored to what you actually need, not think you should do

  • Simple practices you can return to between sessions

  • No expectation to talk about your story unless you want to

  • A grounded nervous system to settle alongside - co-regulation is big part of the work

I know exactly what it's like to have insight without change.

For years I was high-functioning, successful, capable, doing the work, and completely stuck inside the same loops. I remained in cycles of over-achieving, people-pleasing, and emotional survival. The patterns didn't shift until I stopped trying to understand them from my head and started working with my body directly. That's when a real transformation happened.

I'm Dr. Aleksandra Wruk. My approach brings together 15 years of personal practice and training in: eco-somatic therapy, nervous system regulation, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness and self inquiry. Plus a PhD in Mental wellbeing interventions. But the most importantntly I walked this path myself.

Frequently asked questions

What if I'm not sure this is right for me?

That's exactly what the free connection call is for. There's no pressure to commit. It's simply a chance to explore together whether this approach fits where you are.

How many sessions do I need?

You will see some results from the first session, however, we start with a minimum of five sessions, to give your nervous system enough time to recognise the work on a deeper level. From there, support can be ongoing, much like with talk therapy. Some people stay for a few weeks, others continue for longer. We'll talk about what makes sense for you as we go.

I've done years of this. Why would this be different?

You'll recognise a lot of it from the work you've done but what's different is where we go afterwards. Most of this work stops once you're steady, regulated, and back to functioning. That's where we start. The second half is about capacity: how much life you can hold, and what you do with the energy you get back.

How is it different to traditional talk therapy?

Talk therapy works primarily through language and insight: naming patterns, exploring stories, making sense of experience. Somatic therapy works through the body. We still talk, but we will work primarily with your nervous system. This matters because some patterns, particularly those rooted in stress, overwhelm, or survival don't fully shift through thinking alone. Many people find that somatic therapy complements talk therapy, or goes deeper than talk therapy alone has been able to.

Do I have to talk about my trauma?

No. The work doesn't depend on narrative. We work with what your body is doing now, not with the story of how it got there. You're welcome to share whatever feels useful, but nothing is required. For many people, the relief of not having to explain or justify is itself part of the healing.

I've tried so many things. How is this different?

Because this isn't another approach that works at the thinking level. Your nervous system doesn't speak in thoughts. It speaks in sensation, tension, and the body's constant awareness of safe or not safe. Until you work at that level, the old patterns keep running.

What if I'm in crisis or need acute mental health support?

Somatic therapy is supportive for many things, but it isn't a replacement for crisis care or specialist mental health treatment. If you're in acute distress, please reach out to your GP, a crisis line, or a registered mental health professional. We can talk about whether somatic therapy might be a useful part of your wider support, alongside other care you're receiving.
